This application ("the Application") is a private, internal integration used by a single business ("the Operator") to access its own QuickBooks Online company data. It is not offered to the public, and it does not collect information from website visitors or the general public.
With the Operator's authorization through Intuit's OAuth process, the Application can access accounting data held in the Operator's QuickBooks Online company, which may include customers, vendors, employees, transactions, and financial reports. The Application only accesses data within the scopes the Operator has authorized.
Data is used solely for the Operator's internal bookkeeping, reporting, and business-management purposes. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Operator's business.
The Operator does not sell, rent, or share data obtained through the Application with third parties, except: (a) service providers the Operator uses to process its own data on its behalf, subject to their own confidentiality and security obligations; or (b) where required by law.
The Application runs on systems controlled by the Operator. OAuth credentials and tokens are stored on those systems and are not published or transmitted to anyone other than Intuit. Communication with the Intuit APIs uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to the systems running the Application is restricted to authorized individuals.
Data retrieved from QuickBooks Online is retained only as long as needed for the Operator's business purposes. The authoritative copy of the Operator's accounting data remains in QuickBooks Online.
Access can be revoked at any time by disconnecting the Application from within QuickBooks Online or the Intuit account settings. Once access is revoked, the Application can no longer retrieve data, and stored tokens become invalid.
